My theory lately -- in jest -- is that anyone can be a freelance writer, as long as they're willing to work for $3 per article. Really though, there are probably a lot of really bad writers who make it as freelancers, and many of them probably don't work cheaply. A few ebook writers come to mind. Anyone can write and sell an ebook, and even get other people to sell it for them through sites like Clickbank. I'm always amazed at the simple errors I often come across just in the sales letter for the ebook. Yet these books sell, and the writers rake in good money.
