It is usefule to me as it is only three lines. I have been attempting to write poetry and trying new types of poems. I do have one question. IS there a set type of meter that uses anapest or dactyl foots instead of iambs. Iambic pentameter is well known with it's marching 10 syllables but what do poets use with dactyl foots. The limerci uses anapest but it seems to me the rhythm would be associated with a dirty joke which would detract. For what ever reason I am thinking there are other metrical forms used in tercets.
