October to November

October was an excellent month here are Poewar. Readership was up from the past two months and we completed not one, but two projects, the 30 Poems in 30 Days project (which began in September) and the 10 Days of Character Building project. All in all, it was a very busy and productive month.
Looking forward to November, I anticipate that I, like many of us, will be very busy competing in NaNoWriMo. I will be keeping track of my progress on this site, as well as posting a few fiction writing tips to help carry us along. For those of you competing, please post your word counts as we go, so that we can keep track of our little community’s progress. Good luck to everyone who is competing!

Word Count 1926 . . . . I’m just trying to figure out how to work the NaNo website . . . it’s sooooooooooo slow. I did find my region and Lubbock is it. There are 76 in that region writing. I’m having soooooooooooo much fun. These characters are really nuts, they are driving me and riding me already. Hope my energy stays this good.

I’ve signed up too, a day late and a dollatr short.
I have decided not to do the novel I sketched out two weeks ago, becasue I need to do some research first. Depending on how the research goes, and this year’s attempt, I will do that novel next year.
In the meantime, I will will do an auto-biagraphical work, where I will write out a life changing event, altering the names of those involved to ‘protect the innocent’ I have wanted to do this since shortly after the event took place, so what better time or excuse?
