The Frayne Anthology of Short New Erotica is a small publishing project for anyone who loves erotica. Our goal is to collect and publish erotic fiction and poetry from as diverse a population as we possibly can. From subtle to hardcore, we know that our fantasies are as diverse as the population we are a part of and we want to reflect that variety in our anthology.

Someone always says something will NEVER make some particular list, or market, or amount of money, and then that list or that market is conquered and the money made. Many find “traditional” romance boring and far too limited to encompass deeper and more layered characterizations. As a published and award winning writer of romantic erotica, my take is that I find famous romance authors with supersprayed hair and enough makeup for a crossdresser saying that sex writing is frightening or at least unimaginative. But writing basic romance without sex and intimacy isn’t? If romance in the everyday mainstream of life were as varied and imaginative as it should be between two or more people then why fear sex? Sex and intimacy are not fads, they’re of major interest to everyone, regardless of what they say. Romance, intimacy, and sex have even taken Jesus to number one and a Tom Hanks film. So, yes, it can happen.

I don’t think any type of novel can “take the place” of another. ^^; After all; people enjoy all sorts of things. I personally, cannot stand erotic fiction; it lacks to me equality of boths sides, brings up unrealistic descriptions of romance and love, and brings about bad choices. I’m not saying all do, but the ones I have glimpsed at have. In any case, I don’t care for them at all, and, as a women, find they are only “women centric” in stereotypical terms.

However, it is a market that may possible be growing, and does have *I would assume* some base of an audience. I think it may find its own place *although certainly not with me*, instead of replacing any of the exsisting ones. It’s a common opinion that “traditional” or “some form” of something should be pushed out with someonething new, but I’d prefer it to find its own place.

eh, who knows. I am, personally, not into that sort of novel…so it can go down for all I care,or uoos or up for all I care. It all depends on the market.
