Now go look at publisher’s submission guidelines.
Some want a specific name story page number at the top of pages 2 through end, such as name / enough to id story/ page:

SMITH/WINDY/ 1

Some also disagree with this:
“Do not type -30-, the end, or end at the conclusion of your manuscript. Just end it.”

Some will get upset if you don’t use courier.

This is helpful but see if the particular place has particular guidelines.
