These are blogs in which the blogger discusses specific topics in a fashion similar to a subject matter blog or a political blog. The difference is that a hybrid blog mixes that discussion with personal observations and stories about the author’s life. For example, a traveling musician may write informational articles about music but mix it with observations from the road and discussions of romantic entanglements and band mates. Hybrid sites are very common and can work well in a blogging for profit approach.
The appeal of a hybrid blog is that you get both information and personality. A person may read the blog because they are interested in the topic or they may read it purely because they like the personality of the person writing the blog. Many times, readers feel more connected to a hybrid blog and are more likely to post their own comments and attempt to become a part of the conversation. This leads to long-term readers which is a key to blogging success.
An excellent example of a hybrid blog is Molly.com. The blogger, Molly E. Holzschlag, writes about web development but also includes stories about her life, photos and even poetry.

I think most of the blogs online today are hybrid blogs. Most probloggers not only write about their blogs specific topic but also about what they do everyday, what doing to make money online, how they are spending such money and other stuff. I think they do all this just to entice new comers and their readers to want to live such a life.
I have 5 topics to blog about, this not only makes me easier to generate quality content but as well interest the readers.
