by John Hewitt on 8/21/2007

BlogWriters are embracing blogging in greater and greater numbers. It is a great way to get your voice heard and even make a little money. The beauty of blogging is the low initial investment. That means anyone can give it a try. That is also the problem with blogging. There are plenty of people out there who don’t know what they are doing. If you want to blog well, here is an extensive guide to articles about blogging. If you manage to get through all of these, you might just stand a chance of becoming a successful blogger. Please note, many of these links come from Problogger.net’s recent 31 Days to Building a Better Blog. I sorted them, prettied them up and added more.

Hi Thanks for the linkback – you’ve got a great list going here!

John Hewitt August 21, 2007 at 4:35 pm

No problem Fried, I thought your article on Alexa was quite good. Nice graphics too.

It is amazing how popular blogging is becoming. When all the news stories have a specialist that is there BECAUSE of his/her blog, it proves that blogging has made it to mainstream.

Thanks for including me in your list of 200.

That’s an impressive resource. I do think you should acknowledge a large majority of those articles come from ProBlogger — possibly all of them, but I don’t have the time to do a thorough check. Credit where credit is due…

Hi Skellie,
Will do. I also link to problogger at least a dozen times in the article.

Skellie August 21, 2007 at 6:26 pm

Hi John. The article is much better for the credit.

Hi Kathryn,
I really do like your article. I keep hoping that one day I’ll have articles stored up for when writer’s block hits, but I just keep plugging away at getting an article a day in.

Thanks for the links to a few of my articles, and for all of the other valuable resources here.

Hey, thanks for the links as well, and the sorting is a nice option too. If you’ve visited my site, you’ll see that i need some serious help with COLOR SCHEMES. Don’t let the site hurt your eyes while I’m playing. ;)

Hi Suzanne,
Green on green is an interesting choice I must admit. I suffered the punishment of changing my permalinks (twice). I know the pain.

This is one huge list, that’s for sure!
