Today’s Job and Writing Links
Something weird has happened over at freelancewritinggigs.com. The one blog has morphed into six blogs. None of these apparently has the same RSS, because I’m not getting any new articles anymore. In the long run, perhaps this subdivision is a good move for the site, but it is sort of annoying in the short term. Here are links to the individual blogs. I hope they decide to combine the feeds at some point so I don’t have to look at all of these sepearately.

Random Thought of the Day
Growing up it all seems so one-sided
Opinions all provided
The future pre-decided
Detached and subdivided
In the mass production zone

Hmm - glad I’m not the one who was slightly confused (and annoyed) with the switchover at FWJ without any notice…

Hi,
I’m so sorry you’re not comfortable with the change. I realize it’s a big difference. Our long term hope is that it makes life easier for our community.
-Actually, it wasn’t without notice. I’ve been talking about morphing FWJ into a network for several months now. Plus, I gave notice last week that changes were coming. We also had notices on the main page of changes when we were in maintenance mode. I hope we’ll regain your confidence and the annoyance is only short term.

Hi Deb,
I had heard you mention changes. You may have been more specific than I recall. I also used to have multiple blogs running on the same site, but it didn’t work out so well. Perhaps you will fare better.

Hi Deb -
I didn’t intend my comment to be that negative.
I love the changes - it just caught me a little off guard as I everything through my RSS reader, so it took several days before I realised the feeds might have changed…
I hope FWJ radio is coming back as well?
