We finished the play this afternoon. What a run, the house was full and half of them had come back to see it a second time. Playing Goldie Hawn was the honor of a lifetime. She gave me a glimpse of life I had never had before — Sock it to me!!!!

28K is great John, and I bet you’ve got bunch more today. Ah . . magic’s residue . . . hmmm, and . . . . ????

Cards are fun — try the Rider Waite deck for starters . . . . unless someone has a better suggestion, just keep it simple, and don’t take yourself too seriously . . . we’re here to enjoy life.

30,074 words — hey, they’re taking me on a camping trip, man alive, these guys know how to have a good time when they’re working they think we need to get away and get a better perspective on the situation,build a big bonfire, read the stars, etc. the next chapter is “To Catch a Thief.”

Connie! Way to go on the count! Sometimes the Cosmos just pulls us along kicking and screaming. You, however, seem to be enjoying the ride. Keep up the great work. My main character reads auras. She’s also a witch that can see magic’s residue, so to speak.
I need to get some tarot cards, I think.

it’s going great, not easy, but I’m getting there, I’m at 28,711 — get this guys, I’m writing chapter 12, and it’s called the number 13, and all kinds of things around the no. 13 started appearing, so then I decided to skip chapter 13, just not even have one in the book, like the floors in a hotel if you get my drift, (superstitious meself) so I go on to Chapter 14 and its called divination, and one of my characters is throwing the tarot cards, so I think to myself, I’ll just throw the cards myself for him to see how it comes out, well, the card that that came up as the foundation of the character’s reading hahahaha, it was the 13th card of the major arcana — shades of Stephen King –

Ahh yes I am doing the lovely, insane NaNoWriMo. Hmmm. My username thingy is minfire. I’ve got a good word count (30k or so), but am very dismayed to realize that it’s still about an eigth of my story overall. I will be writing for a long time. I’m dismayed because my parents are really going to get annoyed with me, I’m addicted to novel-writing now. Ah well. It’s my fault I guess for having 4 viewpoints. (so far) and going into detail, even if it is bad detail.

Anybody broken that 4th wall yet? I did, once, when I was ready to kill off one of my characters for disrupting my plot. We worked it out though

22,092 I’m trying to build up enough words so that I won’t feel guilty taking T-day off. I have seriously considered those he said/she said macros, by the way. And why does the phone ring everytime I finally sit down to write?

Excellent count, Connie! My main obstacle during the week is work. I usually put in 10 to 12 hour days Monday through Thursday so that I can have three days off. Because of Thanksgiving and strategic days off, I’ll have seven out of nine days off starting Friday. That should give me the time I need to get close to the 50,000.
