Hi Connie,
Line breaks in comments can be tough. Everything looks ok on the screen though.

I'm very sorry I can't get the window to put in my line breaks properly.

The Neophyte

Tall, dark-eyed and thin
Her story is grim
Her purpose as stated unclear
She's traveled from far
To be where we are
To escape from a life of no win

She had everything manifest
Family, home and the best
Yet money could not buy her soul rest

She floundered by day, on the streets
Of L.A., walking Sunset and hitching
Down Belladonna Wayay.

A child of the night
Confused by the light
Lives undercover of a hoodie, hides and
Cries in the back of the house

She'll be here I'm sure, when the
Nadir is near, save a seat for the lost one
We love, her demons are clever, so no one
Must never, leave ajar the door to the dark world
She fears

But standing strong together
In the circle of light
The energy we build may just
Set things right, from the earth to the sky we request yet a nod

She has faith in her God
Loyalty to first belief and, no jest
A crucial part of the test
Not blind mimicry of what others think
Because she is true and never wavers from this
The first rule of delivery is met

Her energy is weak, it is our strength that she seeks
To close the doors, to conquer the scores
Of addictions that succor her will

A quiet little mouse
Her purpose she states
She wants to begin again
With this course in mind
Open the book and remind her
Of the the discipline of Abramalin

Tell her love is the law
We've all been there and seen
Other's demons that didn't survive
For the Great Mother is kind, and action
Will bind, the evil away from her heart
